Have you read all the Harry Potter books? Which one is your favorite? Why? Yes, I have read every Harry Potter book. My personal favourite would have to be Order of the Phoenix. So much happened in that book: character development, plot, action, everything. Rowling managed to write a character I can hate without worry (Umbridge), and I could understand the situation the school was in, as a very similar thing occurs in the schools in my province (i.e. government not leaving the schools alone, messing things up, etc.)

Which character is your favorite? Which one is your least favorite? Why? Ooh, hard question. I have a lot of favourite characters. I really like the minor characters, like Oliver Wood, Roger Davies, Terry Boot, Susan Bones, Cedric Diggory, and Cho Chang, because I think there's some really good stories to tell about these characters. It may be Harry's world we're reading but the ones who are in the background could be just as interesting. I also like James and Lily Potter, again, because of the mysteriousness of their past and how little we know of them, and what we may actually learn about them. I like Crookshanks, because I like cats, and Crookshanks is an interesting cat. XD Of the major characters, I like Ron and Ginny. Both of them have such great personalities, and neither of them are ever boring. Actually, none of the Weasleys are boring, and I really like them because of that.

My least favourite character is Umbridge. I positively hated her in OotP. There was just something... icky about her personality, and I knew that if she was a real teacher, I'd hate her with all the power I could possibly hate someone with. A very close second would be Fudge, because he reminds me of the Canadian politicians, and I don't particularly like Canadian politicians. No real reason why, but I'm not a very political person.

Do you like the Harry Potter movies? Why or why not? I actually do. It's nice to see someone else's interpretation of the novels, and not one of the directors have done an absolutely horrible job at directing the movies. Yes, there are discrepancies here and there, and sometimes the actors aren't always up to snuff, but that happens with almost every movie, plus, many of the actors are young and are still learning how to display certain emotions and behave in certain situations.

If you were given an assignment from Prof. Snape that was due in three days, how would you go about doing it? Why?(Procrastinate, a little at a time, not at all, etc.) I'm a procrastinator. If I was given an assignment from Snape on a Monday, it'd be Tuesday before I even looked at the question, and then it wouldn't be until Wednesday before I went through books looking for an answer to the question. XD I've always procrastinated, it's like ingrained into my study habits and work ethics. I'll eventually get work done, and probably manage to write more than I'm supposed to, but the hardest thing for me is just getting started.

Which Quidditch position (if any) would you play if you went to Hogwarts? Why? Well, I probably wouldn't even try out for Quidditch - I'm not the most athletic person around, and I'm a total klutz, so I'd be a liability to my teammates. I'd be the one falling off my broom at any chance, and getting chased by Bludgers. That being said, if I were to be on a Quidditch team, I'd probably be a Keeper. I'm best in just one spot. XD I'll be able to concentrate better on the Quaffle, and if I fall off my broom, I'd be close to the sidelines so I wouldn't accidentally smack some of the players on my way down. XD

What would you see if you looked into the mirror of erised? Why? You know, I'm really not sure. The Mirror of Erised shows your deepest desires, and to be honest, I'm not sure what those are for me. My mind is a very scary place sometimes, much like a labrinyth, and it keeps secrets from me. I'd probably be very very surprised because then I'd finally find out what apparently I always wanted to my very core. XD

What do you believe in most? Would you die for it? Why (or why not)? I believe that there is still good in the world, that there is still hope, that dreams can manifest themselves into something real, and that there is still beauty in the hearts of everyone. As those are pretty abstract things, it's rather hard to die for anything like that. XD But I would definitely stand up for those beliefs to anyone who questions them.

How do you act when you go to a party? Why? I'm a really shy person. I'd be the person sitting in the corner, with a notebook, scribbling down lyrics and trying to stay invisible. I'm not good in a crowd, I'm a bit demophobic, and if I really don't know anyone at the party, I willl feel so out of place that I'd just want to hide away and cry. Again, I've always been like that.

... Unless there's a karaoke microphone there and a karaoke machine. XD There's a little performer hiding in me, and I have no problem getting up in front of a crowd (it's being in it is the problem for me), and singing for everyone. I like to call myself an introverted extrovert. XD I'm fairly extroverted once you know me or when I'm doing something I'm good at, and then I clam up again. I'm kinda like that frog on Looney Tunes... you know the singing one? When everyone's looking he won't do anything, and then when you least expect it, he gets up, dances around and sings? Yeah. That's me. XD

What house do you think your best, and least suited for? Why? Probably Hufflepuff. I'm loyal, and very trustworthy. It's also a part of the way I was brought up. I'm a Newfoundlander, and we're known for being hardworking, and generally incredibly... nice, for lack of a better term, and I see a lot of these same traits in Hufflepuff, and I'm a good fit for that, because it's part of who I am, and how I was raised. I'd be least suited for... I don't know. I don't want to say Slytherin, because I'm sure I have Slytherin traits as well and could fit there as well. I could be suited for all of the houses and absolutely none of them at the same time. XD

What form would your Boggart take? Why? Well, I have a phobia of crowds (demophobia), so unless the Boggart could take the form of a swarming crowd to circle me, it could always become a giant millipede or centipede. I HATE those things. I will go running in the opposite direction if one was in the same area as me. Don't ask me why I'm scared of them, I just am. I think it's all the legs. They scare me. XD

How do you apply yourself to your work? Explain. I can. I don't always DO, but I can. XD If it's something I'm really interested, I will do lots of work on it, and try to keep ahead if possible (which explains my English marks, I guess. I read other works by the author, and work out what the story or poem means to me, etc.), and be quite devoted to it. If it's something I hate... not so much. If I don't really like it, I take it as it comes, do as minimal work as it takes to pass it, and then go back to my favourite stuff. XD I've a bit of a one-track mind.

What is thicker, friendship or blood? Why? Friendship can be thicker than blood, because when it comes to family, you feel like you're almost required to like them, to stand up for them, even if you don't believe in what they stand for, simply because they are your family. With friendship, it's your choice, and choices can surprise you. You chose to let these people in your life, and those choices can mean so much.

What qualities of each of the houses do you believe you possess? Explain.
Hufflepuff - I'm loyal, and very trustworthy. Once you put your trust me, I can guarentee I will not put that in jeporady, for anything.
Gryffindor - I'm not the bravest, though I do things that scare the life out of me, and I guess that could be considered bravery, facing your fears and doing it anyway. I'm also very stubborn. XD
Ravenclaw - I'm on a constant search for knowledge. I want to know as much as I possibly can about as many subjects as I can. I also am a bookworm, but that's not necessarily a Ravenclaw trait. ;)
Slytherin - I'm passionate and ambitious. I may never get around to actually using that ambition for anything, but it's there somewhere. I can also be incredibly snarky. XD

You and a few other people are in a bad situation, not all of these people are your friends. You can find a way out for yourself, but no-one else. Fight (for the others) or flight(save yourself)? Why? Fight, even though the first thing to cross my mind would probably be flight. But then my guilt would get the better of me (I can't leave those people there, I have to help!), and then I'd stay and fight anyway.

How did you find us? If you were referred then who referred you? I came here through DA's affliate, lumos_main, which I have been a member of for a few months. :D
