Have you read all the Harry Potter books? Which one is your favorite? Why?
I have read all of the Harry Potter books. My favorite one is probably Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince even though it really made me mad when Dumbledor was killed. It's my favorite because a lot of my questions from previous books were answered but it still left me with more questions which I hope will be answered in book 7.
Which character is your favorite? Which one is your least favorite? Why?
I have two favorite characters actually. The first one is Harry himself because I understand what it's like to be picked on for most of your life and feel like an outsider even with your family. My second favorite character is Professor McGongal because even though she's strict she really does seem to care. That and she has a real dry sense of humor like I do so I can really appreciate that.
Do you like the Harry Potter movies? Why or why not?
I like the movies but I wish they would stay a little truer to the books especially the third one. I know that most people wouldn't want to sit through a 4+ hour movie but I'd enjoy it because it would be more faithful to the books. I'm hoping that eventually they'll come out with a director's cut or extended version for the movies.
If you were given an assignment from Prof. Snape that was due in three days, how would you go about doing it? Why?(Procrastinate, a little at a time, not at all, etc.)
I would probably do it a little at a time because Potions reminds me of chemistry and I hated chemistry despite the fact that it was my major for a little while in college. I would take it a little at a time so that I could get it done and not have Prof. Snape on my case. I wouldn't want to procrastinate though because then it would just add the pressure of getting it done on top of the misery of having to do it in the first place.
Which Quidditch position (if any) would you play if you went to Hogwarts? Why?
I think I'd play keeper because I played goalie in soccer and while I know they're not the same the idea of defending three goals intrigues me.
What would you see if you looked into the mirror of erised? Why?
Wow this is a hard question, I'd probably see myself playing on the U.S. Womens' soccer team because soccer is one of my passions. I know I'll probably never even get to play on a team again, especially since my ankle is so chewed up so I'd have to say playing for the U.S. Womens' soccer team would probably be what I'd see.
What do you believe in most? Would you die for it? Why (or why not)?
I have to be honest I'm not entirely sure what I believe in most but it's probably sticking up for troubled teens. I don't know that I'd die for it simply because I don't know how that would help anything.
How do you act when you go to a party? Why?
To be completely honest I don't go to parties because I don't know how to act at them. When I've gone to them in the past, at school and stuff, I tried so hard to be liked that I always felt like I was making a fool out of myself.
What house do you think your best, and least suited for? Why?
I don't know what house I'm best suited for but I do know that I'm least suited for Slytherin because I'm not that dark I guess is the best way to put.
What form would your Boggart take? Why?
My Boggart would probably take the form of my mother being dead because it's the thing that I pretty much fear the most. I didn't get close to my mom until a couple of years ago and I know it's going to be hard when I lose her. I know it's going to be hard when I lose my dad too but I just have a feeling that it's going to be harder to lose her and my brother than it will be when I lose my dad and sister. So I guess my Boggart would take the form of death in whatever shape death comes in because I pretty much fear death above all else.
How do you apply yourself to your work? Explain.
Not really sure what you mean by this question but I do know that I'm a hard worker. Even when I struggle I don't give up, I just keep plugging away at the problem until I get it solved even if it means asking for help, which is not something I do easily.
What is thicker, friendship or blood? Why?
I think that a true friendship is like having a blood relative so my answer would be that they're equal. My family is very important to me and I would do anything for them and when I have a true friend I see them as part of my family. Not to mention that my two best friends in the world are my older brother and my mom.
What qualities of each of the houses do you believe you possess? Explain.
From Gryffindor I possess daring and bravery because I tend to think outside of the box which a lot times requires a lot of bravery. From Hufflepuff I possess loyalty because can trust me to do what I say I'm going to do and I'll stay loyal to the ones I'm close to until the day I die. From Ravenclaw I'd have to say smartness because even though I wasn't always the greatest of students I do have a good amount of intelegence (despite the fact that I can't always spell all that great sorry.) From Sytherin I guess I'd have to say that I don't always follow the rules to the exact letter of the law.
You and a few other people are in a bad situation, not all of these people are your friends. You can find a way out for yourself, but no-one else. Fight (for the others) or flight(save yourself)? Why?
I would fight because of the way I was raised and because of some the things I've been through in my own life. I believe that it's important never to leave anyone behind so I would stay and fight to find a way to get everyone out with as little damage as possible.
How did you find us? If you were referred then who referred you?
I found you through the real_hogwarts live journal but I wasn't referred by anyone.
